 PSoC® is a true programmable embedded SoC from Cypress Semiconductor, integrating configurable analog and digital peripheral functions, memory and a microcontroller on a single chip. With an extremely flexible visual embedded design methodology that includes preconfigured, user-defined peripherals and hierarchical schematic entry, a design can be changed multiple times and the project can still stay on schedule.
The new PSoC3 and PSoC5 families extend this programmable embedded system design platform, shattering design limitations. The system contains high-precision programmable analog including 12-bit to 20-bit delta-sigma ADCs, a digital logic library with dozens of drop-in peripherals, best-in-class power management and rich connectivity resources. 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit designs can be implemented with the advanced ARM® Cortex™-M3 or high-performance 8051 processors. |
