Introducing PRoC LP, the new family of award winning Programmable Radio-System-on-a-Chip devices from Cypress Semiconductor. Integrating a low-voltage Flash-based 8-bit microcontroller (MCU) with a low-power 1Mbps 2.4GHz radio transceiver, PRoC LP combines all functions needed to implement a wireless human interface device (HID) in a single chip.

PRoC LP not only rids your bill of materials of an entire chip, but it also eliminates the need for external regulators, boost converters, numerous passives, and EEPROM, saving you money and simplifying your design. Coupled with its tiny footprint, PRoC LP enables innovative industrial design especially for space-constraint products. And since it is based on Cypress´s proven interference-immune WirelessUSB technology with frequency-agile Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS), you are guaranteed wired-like performance for your wireless peripherals.
