In a recent survey, electronic engineers were asked to evaluate their preferences among electronic component distributors. This year's survey, conducted by Beacon Technology Partners LLC, August 2008, represented the 17th year that this comprehensive industry report card has been conducted.

Once again, Digi-Key is proud to be the most highly rated distributor across a variety of dimensions, including:

Methodology:
In July of 2008, surveys were emailed to a sample of 40,000 EE Times subscribers in the North American market. The purpose of this survey was to gather information on readers' involvement with specifying, authorizing and/or purchasing engineering components/products and their preference among distributors of those products. An overall response rate of 4.3 percent was achieved. Results of the survey were tabulated and published in August 2008.
