Using our new reference design kit, RDK-138, you can speed your utility meter to market with a power supply that is smaller and simpler to manufacture than designs incorporating transformers.
This 1.2 W non-isolated power supply uses LinkSwitch®-TN (LNK304DN). Its features include:
• Simple dual output buck topology
• Configurable positive or negative voltage outputs
• 85 - 265 VAC input, 12 V, 80 mA and 5 V, 50 mA outputs
• Easily modified to include 10 kV surge protection
• High reliability, typically 1 Failure In Time (FIT)

• Very good cross regulation
• Integrated safety and reliability features

PCB temperatures under all conditions
