Digi-Key Corporation is currently seeking an organized self-starter with a strong background in web development technologies and techniques to fill the position of Content Management Developer in its Information Technology department.
The successful candidate will have a key understanding of the challenges of developing for the web; the ability to function as a high-level technician working on configuring and implementing WebTrends web analytics on multiple web sites; and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users. Working in a variety of roles, the successful candidate will also have the ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and solve web analytics issues. Additionally, he or she will possess excellent written and oral communications skills along with strong data interpretation, reporting, and presentation skills.
Requirements include a minimum of five years experience in managing analytics and/or content management systems and preferably, at least four years experience in installing and maintaining Interwoven products, particularly TeamSite and OpenDeploy, DataDeploy, Metatagger, and MediaBin; and proficiency with .net and Java.
Content management responsibilities include maintaining, upgrading, and supporting the Interwoven suite of tools, including TeamSite, SitePublisher, MetaTagger, and MediaBin; interacting with internal users, developers, an web developers in support of their usage of Interwoven applications; interacting with server and network engineering to ensure proper operation and plan for future upgrades and capacity changes; participating in application architecture discussions, providing design patterns where appropriate; and keeping up to date on the industry's latest trends.
Analytics responsibilities include interfacing with team members and customers to assist in the implementation of web analytics and delivering reports on an ongoing basis; acting as the central point of contact/Subject Matter expert for web analytics; working with product to optimize features and functionality around usage, page yield, and relevance; setting benchmarks and establishing analytics for key performance criteria; developing best practices approaches for analyzing user behavior on the web sites(s) as well as general tracking setup and data interpretation.
This position is available at Digi-Key's headquarters in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Relocation assistance is available. Compensation will commensurate with experience.
