Software Engineer

Digi-Key is seeking motivated individuals to fill Software Engineering positions. Ideally, candidates should have an interest in developing interactive, real-time systems, should be familiar with C/C++ or C#, relational database concepts, and have a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.

Digi-Key's main business applications, including our websites, are custom developed and maintained solely by our IT department. The software is interactive on-line and supports a large variety of business functions such as order entry, customer history, accounts receivable, inventory control and order fulfillment.

E-commerce is also an exciting area of development at Digi-Key. In the electronics distribution industry, Digi-Key's award winning website (www.digikey.com) is consistently rated #1 for ease of use, organization of site, and product search engine.
