Systems Administrator

Digi-Key is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Systems Administrator in its Information Technology department. An AA, AAS, or BS degree, along with work experience in a related field, is preferred. The successful candidate will also possess a fundamental understanding of computers, including software, hardware, and Windows programs; good written and verbal communications skills; the ability to work well with others and perform multiple tasks simultaneously with limited supervision; and the ability to react well under pressure and accept responsibility for ones actions while being adaptable with regards to changes caused by such things as unexpected events or work environment. While this position is mostly Windows based, Linux/Unix experience would be helpful.

Job duties include assisting with the management of an environment that includes 250-plus servers and more than 2,100 PCs, working with Active Directory, Exchange Server, file servers, FTP, proxies, virtualization, scripting, and client-server applications along with other duties as assigned.

Compensation for this position will be competitive. Relocation assistance is available.
