Application Engineer

Digi-Key Corporation is seeking an individual who has a fascination and passion for the field of electronics and high technology.

Digi-Key Corporation, one of the industry’s fastest growing distributors of electronic components, is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to its Design Support Services group in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Our Design Support Services group supports Digi-Key customers, via phone, in optimizing their product designs by providing technical guidance to them on a wide variety of components and subsystems.

The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3.0 GPA or offsetting design experience and 3-5 years of progressive experience as a design engineer or field application engineer. Applicants should have design background in the application of microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors and all types of analog and digital integrated circuits. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be used by the Application Engineer when speaking with customers and assisting them with in-depth applications.
