Technical Content Engineer

Digi-Key Corporation is currently seeking applicants for Technical Content Engineer positions. Digi-Key's technical content writers author, co-author and contribute to the creation and revision of its printed technical content and are responsible for bringing clarity and consistency to documents through accurate and concise writing and the effective use of document formatting.

Job requirements include a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering as well as experience in technical writing or a related field. The successful candidate will have strong writing, editing, and communication skills along with a strong typographical technique and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others on a project team.

Duties will include assisting Digi-Key's Product Management group with technical writing and editing, assisting the Internet Marketing and Advertising groups with all technical writings and examples, applying corporate and regulatory documentation requirements, managing, organizing, and communicating project information and activities, and other duties as assigned. Types of documents requiring technical writing include technical data sheets and specification sheets, product training modules, Web content, press releases, video scripting, white papers, and case studies.
