In a recent survey, electronic engineers were asked to evaluate their preferences among electronic component distributors. This year's survey, conducted by Beacon Technology Partners LLC, May 2007, represented the 16th year that this comprehensive industry report card has been conducted.

Methodology:
In March of 2007, surveys were mailed to a sample of 8,000 EE Times subscribers in the North American market. The purpose of this survey was to gather information on readers' involvement with specifying, authorizing and/or purchasing engineering components/products and their preference among distributors of those products. An overall response rate of 11 percent was achieved. Final results of the survey were tabulated and published in May 2007.
