Digi-Key Rated #1 for Overall Performance for 18th Consecutive Year

In an annual survey, electronic engineers were asked to evaluate their preferences among electronic component distributors. The most recent survey, conducted by Beacon Technology Partners LLC in August 2009, represented the 18th year this comprehensive industry report card has been administered.

Once again, Digi-Key is proud to be the most highly rated distributor across a variety of dimensions, including:

The study also found Digikey.com to be, by far, the website most frequented by respondents. Additionally, Digikey.com enjoys the highest ratings across all evaluation criteria:

Methodology:
Between June 30 and July 29 of 2009, surveys were emailed to 40,589 EE Times readers in the North American market. The purpose of this survey was to gather information on readers' involvement with specifying, authorizing and/or purchasing engineering components/products and their preference among distributors of those products. An overall response rate of 2.5 percent was achieved. Results of the survey were tabulated and published in August 2009.
