Cornell Dubilier Electronics is pleased to announce the availability of a new series of power film capacitors which can be used to replace aluminum electrolytic capacitors for higher current, voltage, and reliability. The new series, UNL, uses metallized polypropylene dielectric in a snap-in style case. This new series provides stable high capacitance, high voltages up to 1500VDC, continuous currents beyond 20 amps and extremely low ESR down to 6mΩ.
While having lower capacitance than similar size aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the UNL series has the advantages of being self-healing and non-polar. Plus, it has 3 or more times the ripple current capability, more than 2 times the life with no dry-out, and one tenth the ESR. |
