Digi-Key Corporation Announces Free Shipping on CAD Orders over $200

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minnesota - February 19, 2009 — Canadian design engineers and purchasing agents using Canadian dollars (CAD) to purchase electronic components and products from Digi-Key Corporation will now receive free shipping on most orders of $200 and more. This free shipping incentive was announced today by Digi-Key, the distributor recognized as having the industry's broadest selection of electronic components available for immediate shipment.

CAD orders entered by 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday are shipped same day via UPS Express for delivery to Canadian provinces in one to three days (dependent on final destination). Duties, tariffs, and brokerage fees on CAD orders are paid by Digi-Key. There is no minimum order, and Digi-Key does not charge handling fees. Shipping for orders of $200 and more is free. A shipping charge of $8 is charged for orders under $200. In the event that unique circumstances necessitate a deviation from regular shipping policies, the customer is contacted for approval prior to the shipment of his order.
