This series of ultra-miniature, low-profile top actuated tact switches features the industry's smallest footprint with an integrated actuator (push plate), and a 50 percent longer operational life as compared to similar products.

With an extended life cycle of 150,000 operations, gold and silver plating options, and superior tactile feel, the KMT Series switch measures just 2.6mm x 3.0mm x 0.65mm with a 0.45mm body height, 0.20mm actuator height, and 0.13mm travel. An integrated actuator for simpler button design yields an excellent tactile ratio of 30 percent minimum, providing sharp feedback. The KMT tactile switches also have a grounding pin option for ESD protection as well as actuation function options of 1.6N (tactile ratio 30 percent) for mobile devices and 1.0N (tactile ration 10 percent) for hearing aids and headsets.
