ACP's range of offerings in connector products spans applications in PC's, storage systems, optical and copper network equipment, modems, hubs, routers, switches, media display systems, and internet appliances.
Amphenol Connex Connector Corporation designs, manufactures and distributes world-class RF connectors, interfaces, crimp tools and accessories. We offer literally thousands of products with options, types and configurations provided by only the largest connector companies. Amphenol Industrial/Avionics Division of PCD Inc., established in 1977, was acquired by Amphenol Corporation in May, 2003 and renamed Amphenol Pcd. It is a world market leader in avionic relay sockets and junction modules; and the leading US manufacturer of pluggable terminal blocks and interface modules for industrial applications. The Division, which continues to operate from its Peabody location, and remains focused on avionic and industrial control interconnects and terminal blocks, is now a subsidiary of Amphenol.
Amphenol RF Division is the world's largest manufacturer of coaxial connectors for use in radio frequency, microwave, and data transmission system applications. Coaxial transmission cables are used wherever there is a need to shield both the electronic message carried through the cables and the surrounding area from the electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. Headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, USA, Amphenol RF has global sales, marketing and manufacturing in North America, Asia and Europe. Our primary manufacturing sites are located in Shenzhen, China; Tainan, Taiwan; Nogales, Mexico; and Danbury, CT, USA.
Amphenol Tuchel Electronics is an independent, ISO 9001 certified company with Amphenol Corporation with offices based in Heilbronn, Germany and Detroit, Michigan. Production facilities are located in Germany, Czech and mainland China. The company employs over 700 people engaged in the development and production of a variety of electrical and electronic connectors. The main product categories are smart card connectors, automotive connectors and both circular and rectangular industrial connectors. Amphenol-Tuchel's core technologies include stamping, plating, precision injection and insert molding, turning, cable assembly, as well as high volume automated part production. We also implement a state-of-the-art design process that allows quick turn design, modeling and prototyping of new custom products.
