Vishay’s new TNPW e3 thin film flat chip resistors are the perfect choice for most modern electronics applications where reliability and stability are major concerns. This series is suited for operation under extreme environmental conditions. Humidity robustness has been proven by extended tests under harsh climatic conditions. The extended resistance range, especially for smaller chip sizes, follows the ongoing trend of miniaturization and enables precision applications in microcircuit designs.

With a variety of different case sizes available — ranging from 0402 up to 1206 — the new resistors cover a wide range of rated power dissipation. The devices feature tolerances as low as ±0.1% and TCR values ranging from ±50 ppm/K to as low as ±10 ppm/K. Standard resistance values range from 10Ω to 2MΩ.

This new series of resistors is suitable for processing on automatic SMD assembly systems and for automatic soldering using wave, reflow, or vapor phase. The devices are RoHS compliant, and their pure tin plating provides compatibility with lead (Pb)-free and lead (Pb)-containing soldering processes.
